In 2019, IronRidge launched our on-demand training platform with the goal of providing free, high quality instruction on installation best practices. Since then, we’ve expanded our curriculum, upgraded the functionality of the learning platform, and have officially named our school: the Atlas Academy.
Over 12,000 students have tried at least one course in the Atlas Academy, and now we have installation courses in English and Spanish for comp shingle and tile roofs as well as Ground Mount. Coming soon is Know Your Solar Code, and Designing Pitched Roof Projects in Atlas. Nearly 7,000 students have successfully passed at least one final exam, and over 1,000 have gone on to complete their status as an IronRidge Certified Installer on either comp shingle or tile roofs.
Whether you’re installing the system yourself, or simply learning what you can about the solar industry, these courses are concise, clear and (in our humble opinion) interesting. Join our student body and become an Atlas Academy graduate yourself.
Many of our courses also offer NABCEP CEs, so for those who are updating their credentials, these offerings will satisfy those requirements.
