William Kim, CEO
William guides all aspects of strategy and execution at IronRidge. Throughout his career, he has grown early stage companies into market leaders through an intense focus on product strategy and customer experience. Previously, William was VP of Products at InQuira (now part of Oracle), a leading provider of search and knowledge management software, and prior to that, he was responsible for global operations and delivery at Scient, an internet consulting company. William also held leadership positions at Vivant! and Cambridge Technology Partners. He has a BS in Electrical Engineering and Music from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
Rich Tiu, COO
Rich leads IronRidge’s core business operations that spans Sales, Marketing, Systems, Supply, Sourcing, and Quality. Rich's teams collectively unify business processes and streamline the overall customer experience in support of the company's growth and maturation. Rich has more than two decades of experience building and transforming operations and cross-functional teams across multiple industries, at companies such as Soligent, Tellabs, Turin Networks (now part of Dell), HP (now part of Agilent), and Stryker. Rich holds a BS in Business Administration from California State University Sacramento and a MBA from University of Phoenix.
Jim Clark, CFO
Jim ensures that our team, board of directors and investors share a consistent, credible view of our operations, resources, scalability, outlook and strategy. Jim’s team is responsible for Financial Planning, Reporting and Analysis, Accounting, Human Resources, Legal, IT and Facilities Management. Prior to IronRidge, Jim has been a CFO for over 25 years with rapidly growing companies, public and private, in high tech hardware, software and SaaS. Jim led the successful IPO of Netopia, an internet router company, as well as several rounds of investment and M&A at companies like Critical Path, Definitive Partners, Diversified Healthcare, StellarNet and Integral Systems. Jim also worked with diverse early-stage companies and complex projects as a CFO Consultant at Kranz & Associates where he achieved recognition as one of the Bay Area's Top 10 CFO Consultants. Jim is a CPA and holds a BS degree in accounting from California State University Chico.
David F. Taggart, VP, Products
Dave leads the conceptualization and development of innovative, high- reliability mounting products at IronRidge. His team’s responsibilities include Product Management, Design and Engineering, Test and Certification, and Product Performance. Prior to IronRidge, he oversaw product development at Lockheed Martin’s Skunk Works, Hypercar, PowerLight, OptiSolar, and Belectric North America. Dave’s vision has resulted in many patents in the aerospace, automotive and solar industries. Dave holds a BS in Metallurgical Engineering from Cal Poly San Luis Obispo and a MS in Materials Engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute.
Sean McDonald, VP Sales
Sean is responsible for creating long-lasting, effective partnerships with solar distributors and dealers across the country. His team supports a national network of authorized distributors, which provides comprehensive financial and logistical services to thousands of solar dealers. Prior to IronRidge, Sean held multiple engineering and marketing positions at Delphi Automotive, a global supplier of vehicle technology. Sean holds a BS in Mechanical Engineering and a MBA from Rochester Institute of Technology.
Corey Geiger, VP New Markets
Corey leads the expansion of IronRidge’s business beyond its traditional footprint. Corey's team is responsible for Business Development, Emerging Markets and Strategic Solutions. Corey has deep experience providing senior executive leadership to develop new markets, launch new products, and transform business performance in the telecommunications networking and solar equipment industries. Corey has lived and worked on three continents and earned a BS and a MS in Electrical Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology.
David Briggs, VP Marketing
David focuses on building a brand and a story for IronRidge that resonates with solar installers. His team encompasses Product Marketing, Creative Services and Marketing Operations, and is responsible for all aspects of customer research, content creation, and campaign execution. Prior to IronRidge, David managed customer awareness, sales enablement and marketing automation programs for Enphase Energy, the global leader in solar microinverters. David holds a BS in Environmental Sciences and a BA in Rhetoric from UC Berkeley.
Michael Kearney, Director, Commercial Sales
Michael leads the development and delivery of IronRidge’s commercial sales and service offerings. His team provides product, design, and engineering solutions for a wide variety of roof and ground based projects. Prior to leading Commercial Sales, Michael set up IronRidge’s distributor network on the East Coast and internationally. Before IronRidge, he served as VP of Sales at Sunlight Electric and in multiple Sales and Marketing roles at what is now InBev USA. Michael holds a BA in English from Fordham University and a MBA from the University of San Francisco.
